Abstrak
Kreativitas Irawati Durban sebagai penari dan kreator tari gaya R. Tjetje Somantri terlihat sangat handal dewasa ini, melalui kreasinya, tari R. Tjetje Somantri tetap diminati di berbagai lapisan masyarakat kota Bandung. Fokus pembahasan tulisan ini adalah mengkaji kreativitas Irawati Durban dalam tari Sunda. Ia dipandang sebagai sosok penari dan kreator yang mengembangkan diri melalui tarian gaya R. Tjetje Somantri secara konsisten dalam sanggar tari Pusbitari sebagai wadah berkreasinya yang telah memberi kontribusi terhadap perkembangan tari pertunjukan di kota Bandung. Kiprahnya telah diakui oleh berbagai pihak, baik di kalangan masyarakat, akademik maupun di kalangan pemerintah.
Pembahasan ini selain memfokuskan kreativitas Irawati Durban yang telah memberi warna dalam perkembangan tari Sunda di kota Bandung, juga mengungkap gaya Irawati Durban dalam mengekspresikan tari gaya R.Tjetje Somantri dalam kreasinya, baik dari segi koreografi dan ekspresi, maupun juga tata busananya.

Abstract
The creativity of Irawaty Durban as a dancer and as a reliable creator of R. Tjetje Somantri dancing style in this decade, through her creation in R. Tjetje Somantri dancing style, is well accepted still by the people around Bandung city.The focus of this research is to observe the creativity of Irawati Durban in Sundanese dances. Since she is considered as the self well-developed dancer and the creator who consistently expand the dancing style of R. Tjetje Somantri through Pusbitari dancing studio, as a medium for her creativeness, has been giving massive contribution for the dancing show development in Bandung city. Her dedication is now being acknowledged by society, academics, and government. This research, then, focuses on the progress of Irawati Durban who has made the development of Sundanese dances more colorful. This study identifies how Irawati Durban expresses the R. Tjetje Somantri dancing style through her creativeness from its choreography and its expression as well as its costume.
