Ronggeng Bugis Dari Pentas Jalanan ke Pentas Panggung

Abstrak
Tari Ronggéng Bugis adalah kesenian adat keraton Cirebon yang berperan sebagai tontonan yang menghibur bagi penontonnya. Tari Ronggéng Bugis juga menjadi media politik dalam penyamaran prajurit Cirebon yakni dengan menjadi ronggéng yang berperan sebagai telik sandi. Dalam perkembangan selanjutnya Tari Ronggéng Bugis berfungsi sebagai salah satu jenis seni pertunjukan yang bersifat hiburan. Pada akhirnya, kesenian ini menjadi produk budaya untuk kepentingan berbagai peristiwa budaya pada masyarakat Cirebon yang dipentaskan dalam bentuk helaran maupun pertunjukan di atas panggung.

Abstract
Ronggéng Bugis Dance is a traditional art of Cirebon palace that serves as an entertaining spectacle for the audience. Ronggéng Bugis Dance also becomes a political medium to undercover the Cirebon soldiers as ronggeng who act as a spy. In the subsequent development, Ronggéng Bugis Dance functioned as one of entertaining performing arts. At the end, this art became a cultural product for the sake of cultural events in Cirebon society which is performed in the form of helaran and on the stage.
