APLIKASI MODEL KREATIF KOREOGRAFI KARYA PANJI GANDRUNG DALAM CERITA PANJI (Sebuah Tinjauan Deskriptif)

ABSTRAK
Cerita Panji banyak tersebar dalam berbagai versi juga menuai banyak tafsir yang memperkaya khasanah perkembangan Seni Budaya. Walaupun banyak tafsir tentang cerita Panji, tetapi pada dasarnya isi cerita tersebut hampir sama, yaitu mengisahkan tentang Raden Panji yang sedari kecil sudah dijodohkan dengan Sekar Taji putri dari kerajaan Kadiri. Akan tetapi sebelum perjodohan itu terlaksana, Panji jatuh cinta kepada gadis desa yang cantik jelita bernama Dewi Anggraeni. Peristiwa tersebut menimbulkan kegoncangan di lingkungan kerajaan Kuripan/Janggala. Berdasarkan cerita tersebut, penulis berupaya untuk mencoba membuat sebuah garap tari yang berjudul Panji Gandrung dan menyusun koreografi, yang bersumber dari gerak-gerak keseharian dan gerak-gerak tari yang sederhana, diolah, distilisasi sehingga menjadi gerak yang bermakna, disesuaikan dengan tema, juga dengan pola pengadegan. Garapan tari Panji Gandrung ini pada akhirnya oleh peneliti dijadikan materi PKM kepada mahasiswa semester IV jurusan Tari ISBI Bandung, dengan judul Aplikasi Model Kreatif Koreografi Karya Panji Gandrung. Proses kreatif ini menggunakan pendekatan konsep garap non tradisi, dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode PAR (Participationaction research).

ABSTRACT
The story of Panji is widely spread in various versions and also derives many interpretations that enrich the treasury of the cultural arts development. Although there are many interpretations of Panji story, but the content of the story is basically almost similar, which tells the story of Raden Panji who has been matched since childhood with Sekar Taji, the princess of Kediri kingdom. But before the marriage conducted, Panji fell in love with a beautiful village girl named Dewi Anggraeni. This event caused a shock in the kingdom of Kuripan/Janggala. Based on the story, the author attempts to make a dance work entitled Panji Gandrung, and compose the choreography which comes from daily movements and simple dance movements, being processed and distilled so that it becomes meaningful movements, adapted to the theme, and to the movement pattern. This Panji Gandrung dance work was then made as materials for community service program for the fourth semester students majoring in dance department of ISBI Bandung, with the title Applying the Creative Model of Panji Gandrung's Choreography. This creative process uses a non-tradition conceptual approach with the Participation Action Research (PAR) approach.
