Tari Doger Kontrak merupakan salah satu repertoar tari yang termasuk dalam rumpun tari rakyat. Tariannya menceritakan para ronggeng yang menari di pemanggungan perkebunan teh untuk menghibur masyarakat penggemarnya. Bentuk tarinya digarap sebagai tarian kelompok yang baru dengan tanpa menghilangkan identitas sumbernya. Penyajiannya menggunakan pendekatan metode gubahan tari. Tahapan proses gubahan dilakukan melalui tahap eksplorasi, evaluasi, dan komposisi. Tujuan dari penyajian tarinya adalah untuk mewujudkan tari kelompok yang baru tanpa menghilangkan identitasnya sehingga menghasilkan nilai tambah yang lebih menarik dan memberi kesan berbeda. Gubahan tari Doger Kontrak ini dilakukan dengan adanya pengembangan pada koreografi, iringan musik, dan artistik tarinya. ABSTRACT COMPOSITION OF DOGER KONTRAK DANCE REPERTOIRE, June 2023. Doger Kontrak Dance is one of the dance repertoires that is included in genre of the folk dance. The dance tells the ronggeng who are dancing on a tea plantation stage to entertain their fans. The form of the dance is worked out as a new group dance without losing the identity of the source. The presentation uses a dance composition method approach. The phases of the composition process are carried out through exploration, evaluation, and composition. The purpose of presenting the dance is to create a new group dance without losing its identity in order to produce more attractive added value and give a different impression. The composition of this Doger Kontrak dance has been carried out by developing the choreography, musical accompaniment and the artistic of dance.
