“DISPLACEMENT” KARYA PENCIPTAAN TARI NON TRADISI

ABSTRAK
Karya tari ini terinspirasi dari visualisasi rutinitas seseorang bernama Kang Ade (M. Rosidi Ali) yang melakukan rutinitas yang sama selama 16 tahun dengan tujuan untuk mengurangi rasa frustasi yang dimilikinya. Displacement (Pemindahan) merupakan salah satu teori psikologi mekanisme pertahanan diri oleh Sigmund Freud yang sangat menggambarkan kondisi psikologis Kang Ade yang kemudian menjadi sumber ide konsep dan garap tari Displacement dan dikemas menjadi sebuah karya tari dengan pendekatan kontemporer dengan tipe dramatik dan bentuk tari tunggal. Karya inimenggambarkan tentang perjuangan orang frustasi yang ingin ke luar dari zona nyaman (Displacement)-nya namun tetap tidak bisa dan pada akhirnya hanya bertahan dengan Displacement secara terus-menerus. Desain koreografinyaterdiri dari gerak-gerak keseharian, seperti; berjalan, melompat, berlari, terlentang, rol depan, dan rol belakang serta beberapa improvisasi dan interpretasi dari rasa frustasi dari seseorang yang mempunyai gejala Displacement, gerak kinetik olah tubuh dan beberapa gejala tubuh frustasi yang distilisasi.Substansi penuangan rasa, makna simbolis, dan dramatik di dalam karya ini dihasilkan melalui penggarapan koreografi, musik, penggunaan setting, penyesuaian lighting dan rias busana. Semua digabungkan melalui hasil eksplorasi dan evaluasi, dan di komposisikan menjadi sebuah pertunjukan tari yang kreatif dan inovatif.

ABSTRACT. "Displacement" Non Traditional Dance Creation Works, Desember 2020. This dance work is inspired by the visualization of a person's routine named Kang Ade (M. Rosidi Ali) who has been doing the same routine for 16 years with the aim of reducing his frustration. Displacement is one of the psychological theories of self-defense mechanisms by Sigmund Freud which strongly describes Kang Ade's psychological condition which later became a source of concept ideas and work on the Displacement dance and was packaged into a dance work with a contemporary approach with a dramatic type and a single dance form. This work describes the struggles of frustrated people who want to get out of their comfort zone (Displacement) but still can't and in the end only survive with continuous Displacement. The choreography design consists of everyday movements, such as; walking, jumping, running, supine, front rollers, and rear rollers as well as some improvisation and interpretation of the frustration of a person who has Displacement symptoms, kinetic movements of the body and some symptoms of the frustrated body being sterilized. The substance of the pouring of taste, symbolic meaning, and drama in this work is produced through the cultivation of choreography, music, use of settings, adjustment of lighting and clothing. All are combined through the results of exploration and evaluation, and are composed into a creative and innovative dance performance.
