ABSTRAKCetta merupakan karya tari dramatik yang terinspirasi oleh tokoh Dewi Sartika, hasil dari diskusi yang membahas tentang tokoh pahlawan wanita Indonesia yang berperan penting bagi kemajuan bangsa. Dewi Sartika, bagi generasi muda khususnya kaum perempuan di Jawa Barat, merupakan tokoh perintis pendidikan yang membawa kesadaran kaum wanita untuk sekolah. Cetta sebagai karya tari kontemporer mencoba ‘menghadirkan” sepak terjang (kaparigelan) tokoh Dewi Sartika melalui ekspresi estetis koreografi dalam tiga bagian pembabakan. Proses kreatif penciptaan tari kontemporer ini dilakukan secara bertahap dan memiliki pesan moral yang berhubungan dengan kemajuan kaum perempuan Sunda. Metode garap yang digunakan bersifat eksploratif, artinya di dalam garapan konsep dasar penciptaan non tradisi dengan bentuk dramatik dipilih sebagai daya ungkapnya. Adapun hasil yang dicapai adalah pertunjukan tari dramatik yang berjudul Cetta dalam kilasan-kilasan dramatik yang mampu menampilkan pesan-pesan simbolik tentang “kaparigelan” ketokohan Dewi Sartika.

ABSTRACT
Cetta Dramatic Dance Creation, June 2017. Cetta is a dramatic dance work inspired by the figure of Dewi Sartika, the result of a discussion that discusses the Indonesian female hero who plays an important role for the progress of the nation. Dewi Sartika, for the younger generation, especially women in West Java, is a pioneering figure in education who brings women's awareness to school. Cetta, as a contemporary dance work, tries to present the "lunge" (kaparigelan) of Dewi Sartika through the aesthetic expression of choreography in three parts of the presentation. The creative process of creating contemporary dance is done in stages and has a moral message related to the progress of Sundanese women. The working method used is exploratory, meaning that in the basic concept of non-traditional creation with a dramatic form is chosen as the power of expression. The result achieved was a dramatic dance performance titled Cetta in dramatic flashes capable of displaying symbolic messages about the "captivity" of Dewi Sartika's figure
