TARI BADAYA RANCAEKEK SEBAGAI SUMBER GARAPAN PENYAJIAN TARI

ABSTRAK
Tari Badaya Rancaekek diciptakan oleh R. Sambas Wirakusumah sekitar tahun 1925, merupakan repetoar tari Keurseus yang berbeda dengan karya sebelumnya. Dalam ciptaanya ini R. Sambas Wirakusumah ter-inspirasi atau ingin mencari sesuatu atau suasana yang lain dalam aspek kepenarian bagi penari wanita, sedangkan karya sebelumnya ditarikan oleh penari pria. Repertoar tari tersebut menjadi sumber inspirasi dan menarik untuk digarap dalam bentuk penyajiannya yang berbeda. Adapun permasalahannya adalah bagaimana membuat inovasi dan bentuk sajian yang berbeda tarian dengan tidak merubah esensi tarian sumbernya. Sebuhungan dengan maksud tersebut, maka teori yang digunakan adalah teori “Gegubahan” Djelantik dalam Estetika Instrumental. Oleh karena itu, metode garapnya merujuk pada metode “Gubahan Tari” yaitu mewujudkan gagasan baru berupa pengembangan dari sumber penyajian tradisi tertentu dengan cara memasukan, menyisipkan dan memadukan bentuk-benuk gerak atau penambahan unsur lain sehingga menghasilkan bentuk penyajian yang berbeda dengan tetap mempertahankan identitas sumbernya. Dengan demikian, maka aspek yang dikembangkan meliputi; desain koreografi, desain karawitan, dan desain artistik dari repertoar tari Badaya Rancaekek menjadi bentuk garap yang artistik yang baru. Sehingga secara esensi tidak mengubah gerak yang sudah ada. Hasil yang dicapai diakhir dapat menyajikan tari Badaya Rancaekek yang penyajian suasana baru.

ABSTRACT. The Badaya Rancaekek Dance As A Source Of Presentation Dance, December 2019. The Badaya Rancaekek dance, created by R. Sambas Wirakusumah around 1925, is a photo repository of the Keurseus dance which is different from previous works. In his creation R. Sambas Wirakusumah was inspired or wanted to find something or another atmosphere in the aspect of dance for female dancers, while his previous work was danced by male dancers. The dance repertoire is a source of inspiration and is interesting to work on in a different presentation. The problem is how to make innovations and different forms of dance presentation by not changing the essence of the source dance. In connection with this intention, the theory used is the theory of "change" Djelantik in Instrumental Aesthetics. Therefore, the working method refers to the method of "composition of the dance" that is realizing new ideas in the form of the development of the source of the presentation of certain traditions by inserting, inserting and integrating forms of motion or adding other elements to produce different forms of presentation while maintaining the identity of the source. Thus, the aspects developed include; choreographic designs, musical designs, and artistic designs from the Badaya Rancaekek dance reporto become a new form of artistic work. The results achieved at the end can present the Badaya Rancaekek dance which presents a new atmosphere.
