REPERTOAR JAIPONGAN RASJATI KREATIVITAS DALAM PENYAJIAN TARI

ABSTRAK
Ketertarikan pada repertoar tari Rasjati yang enerjik, dinamis, dan maskulin, memberikan pengalaman tersendiri bagi penulis untuk dapat mempelajari, memahami, menguasai berbagai unsur estetikanya dan sekaligus menggali nilai di dalamnya untuk dapat disajikan secara berbeda dalam menyajikannya. Itulah tantangan bagi para penyaji repertoar tari, karena harus mampu menya-jikan dengan gaya penyajian yang berbeda dari sumbernya. Oleh karena itu, untuk dapat mewujudkannya digunakan teori estetika instrumental Djelantik ‘Gegubahan’ dengan pendekatan metode ‘gubahan tari’ yaitu mewujudkan gagasan baru berupa pengembangan dari sumber penyajian tradisi tertentu dengan cara memasukkan, menyisipkan dan memadukan bentuk-benuk gerak atau penambahan unsur lain sehingga menghasilkan bentuk penyajian yang berbeda dengan tetap mempertahankan identitas sumbernya. Dengan demikian, maka proses kreatif dalam meng-gubah sumber tersebut didasarkan pada hasil telahaan nilai dibalik bentuknya yaitu tari Rasjati berisi sebuah perenungan terhadap kesadaran diri terhadap jati diri. Makna inilah yang selanjutnya dijelajahi melalui langkah-langkah; eksplorasi, evaluasi, dan komposisi, hingga menghasilkan sebuah bentuk penyajian dengan gaya yang berbeda tetapi tidak menghilangkan identitas sumbernya.

ABSTRACT. Repertoar ‘Rasjati’ Creativity In Dance Presentation, December 2019. An interest in the energetic, dynamic, and masculine Rasjati dance repertoire, provides its own experience for the writer to be able to learn, understand, master various aesthetic elements and at the same time explore the values within it to be presented differently in presenting it. That is a challenge for dance repertoire presenters, because they must be able to present in a different presentation style from the source. Therefore, to be able to realize it, the Djelantik 'Gegubahan' instrumental aesthetic theory is used with the 'dance composition' method approach, namely realizing new ideas in the form of the development of sources of presenting certain traditions by inserting, inserting and combining forms of motion or adding other elements to produce a different form of presentation while maintaining the identity of the source. Thus, the creative process of composing the source is based on the results of the perceived value behind its form, namely the Rasjati dance containing a contemplation of self-awareness of identity. This meaning is then explored through the steps; exploration, evaluation, and composition, to produce a form of presentation with a different style but does not eliminate the identity of the source.
