ABSTRAK
Tari Dangiang Wulung merupakan tarian yang bersumber pada kehidupan masyarakat Selaawi. Keunikan pola kehidupan masyarakat Selaawi yang memiliki daya kreatif memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam berupa bambu yang dijadikan sumber penghasilan mereka. Pada tarian ini juga memiliki keunikan yang berbeda dengan tarian rakyat lainnya, terlihat dari penggunaan bambu pada properti tari dan alat musik yang dipergunakan untuk mengiringi tariannya. Untuk menggali konsep estetika, menggunakan teori Estetika Instrumental dari A. A. M. Djelantik yang mengupas tiga aspek, yaitu; Wujud (appearance), Bobot atau isi (content, substance), dan penampilan atau penyajian (presentation). Metode yang digunakan pada penulisan ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan pada karya tari ini berbentuk genre tari rakyat yang mampu menciptakan sebuah karya seni tari dengan ciri identitas Selaawi.

ABSTRACT
REPRESENTATION OF THE AESTHETIC VALUE OF DANGIANG WULUNG DANCE AS A FORM OF PEOPLE DANCE IN SELAAWI, June 2022. Dangiang Wulung dance is a dance that originates from the life of the Selaawi community. The uniqueness of the life pattern of the Selaawi people who have creative power is to utilize natural resources in the form of bamboo which is used as their source of income. This dance also has a uniqueness that is different from other folk dances, as can be seen from the use of bamboo in the dance properties and the musical instruments used to accompany the dance. To explore the concept of aesthetics, using the theory of Instrumental Aesthetics from A. A. M. Djelantik which explores three aspects, namely; Appearance, weight or content, and appearance or presentation. The method used in this paper is a descriptive analysis method. The results obtained in this dance work are in the form of a folk dance genre that is able to create a dance art with the characteristics of the Selaawi identity.
