ABSTRAK
Karya penciptaan tari dengan judul “BANUASMARA” merupakan karya yang terinspirasi dari penggalan buku cerita pewayangan dengan judul Pawajangan Windu Krama Pedaran 8 Lakon Rarabi ke-1 bagian “Suyudana Krama” dan memfokuskan pada tokoh Dewi Banowati. Garapan ini menyampaikan konflik perang batin Dewi Banowati dalam memperjuangkan keteguhannya, ketulusan cintanya kepada Arjuna, dan ketegarannya dalam menjalani kehidupannya, karena Ayahnya yaitu Prabu Salya memaksa Dewi Banowati untuk menikah dengan Duryudana. Karya tari “BANUASMARA” diangkat melalui sebuah karya tradisi inovasi bertipe dramatik dengan bentuk garap tari kelompok dan disajikan dalam bentuk virtual. Sejalan dengan konsep garap tradisi inovatif bertipe dramatik tersebut, maka dalam mewujudkan karya tari ini, menggunakan metode kreativitas Alma M. Hawkins. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh, yaitu sebuah karya tari tradisi inovatif sebagai hasil dari tafsir penulis terhadap kisah Dewi Banowati.

ABSTRACT
“BANUASMARA” THE CONCEPT OF CREATING INNOVATION TRADITION DANCE, June 2022.The dance creation work with the title "BANUASMARA" is a work inspired by a fragment of a wayang story book entitled Pawajangan Windu Krama Pedaran 8 Rarabi play 1 part "Suyudana Krama" and focuses on the character of Dewi Banowati. This work conveys the conflict of Dewi Banowati's inner war in fighting for her determination, the sincerity of her love for Arjuna, and her stubbornness in living her life, because her father, Prabu Salya, forced Dewi Banowati to marry Duryudana. The dance work "BANUASMARA" is appointed through a traditional innovation work of dramatic type in the form of group dance work and presented in a virtual form. In line with the concept of working on an innovative tradition of dramatic type, in realizing this dance work, Alma M. Hawkins' creativity method is used. The results obtained are an innovative traditional dance work as a result of the author's interpretation of the story of Dewi Banowati.
