“ADHYATMAKA” KARYA PENCIPTAAN TARI CONTEMPORARY

ABSTRAK
Karya tari berjudul Adhyatmaka ini meiliki arti “ilmu kebatinan tertinggi”, diangkat dari cerita proses spiritual Ma’lim dalam kesenian reak. Disajikan dalam bentuk tarian tunggal, memiliki stuktur dramatik, terbagi ke dalam tiga bagian yaitu bagian awal (ngrekes) menggambarkan proses pemanggilan ghoib, adegan tengah (ngajadiekun) menggambarkan proses penyatuan malim dengan ghoib, bagian akhir (nyageurkeun) menggambar proses pemisahan malim dengan ghoib. Metode yang digunakan untuk mewujudkan karya Adhyatmaka yaitu merujuk pada metode penciptaan pendekatan non-tradisi dengan melalui proses; eksplorasi, evaluasi, dan komposisi. Adapun hasil yang dicapai adalah sebuah karya tari kontemporer dengan menghadirkan musik tari yang mendukung susana dan memperkuat setiap adegan, setting bangbarongan sebagai simbol tiga tahapan ghoib yang harus dikuasai oleh seorang ma’lim, usungan, pemilihan rias busana dan tempat pertunjukan yang menjadi satu kesatuan yang utuh.

ABSTRACT. "Adhyatmaka" Contemporary Dance Creation Works, Desember 2020. This dance work entitled Adhyatmaka has the meaning of "the highest mysticism", lifted from the story of the spiritual process of Ma'lim in the art of reak. It is presented in the form of a single dance, has a dramatic structure, divided into three parts, namely the initial part (ngrekes) which describes the process of calling ghoib, the middle scene (ngajadiekun) describes the process of unifying malim and ghoib, the final part (nyageurkeun) depicting the process of separating malim from ghoib. The method used to create Adhyatmaka's work refers to the method of creating a non-traditional approach through a process; exploration, evaluation and composition. The results achieved are a contemporary dance work by presenting dance music that supports the atmosphere and strengthens each scene, the setting of the bangbarongan as a symbol of the three stages of ghoib that must be mastered by a ma'lim, a stretcher, the choice of dress and a performance venue that becomes a unity. intact.
