R. ONO LESMANA KARTADIKOESOEMAH KREATOR TARI SUNDA GAYA SUMEDANG (1901–1987)

ABSTRAK
R. Ono Lesmana Kartadikoesoemah merupakan tokoh Tari Sunda yang berhasil mengembangkan Tari Sunda menjadi menarik, tidak hanya sebagai tari pertunjukan, namun juga sebagai materi bahan ajar, baik di sekolah, sangar-sanggar seni, maupun di Perguruan Tinggi Seni. Karya seni yang lebih dikenal dan digemari adalah tari Wayang, tari Keurseus, dan tari Topeng. Tarian tersebut merupakan improvisasi, modifikasi, inovasi serta seleksi terhadap tari Topeng Cirebon dan Tayuban. Karya-karyanya mampu bertahan sampai sekarang dan masih dipelajari di antaranya; tari Jakasona, tari Jayengrana, tari Ekalaya, tari Gandamanah, tari Gatotkaca, tari Topeng Menak Jingga, tari Leunyepan dan tari Gawil. Atas
dedikasi dan Prestasinya, pada tahun 1982 pemerintah Republik Indonesia menganugrahkan “Piagam Hadiah Seni”. Fenomena kreativitas R. Ono Lesmana Kartadikoesoemah cukup menawarkan daya tarik untuk diamati dalam suatu penelitian. Untuk menjawab permasalahan kreativitasnya, digunakan teori Penjelasan Sejarah Kuntowijoyo dengan metode Sejarah melalui tahapan heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan adalah bahwa R. Ono Lesmana Kartadikoesoemah telah menggunakan bakat, potensi, kualitas dan kapasitasnya dalam proses menciptakan karya seninya.

ABSTRACT
R. Ono Lesmana Kartadikoesoemah A Creator of Sundanese Dance of Sumedang Style (1901-1987), June 2020. R. Ono Lesmana Kartadikoesoemah is a Sundanese dance figure who succeeded in developing Sundanese dance to be interesting, not only as a dance performance but also as a teaching material in schools, art studios, and in the College of Arts. The art works that are well known and favored are Wayang dance, Keurseus dance, and Mask dance. The dances are improvisation, modification, innovation and selection of the Cirebon mask dance and Tayuban. His works have been able to survive to this day and are still being studied, among others; Jakasona dance, Jayengrana dance, Ekalaya dance, Gandamanah dance, Gatotkaca dance, Menak Jingga Mask dance, Leunyepan dance, and Gawil dance. For his dedication and achievement, in 1982 the government of the Republic of Indonesia awarded him "The Charter of Art Prizes". The creativity phenomenon of R. Ono Lesmana Kartadikoesoemah offers interests to be observed in a study. To answer the problem of creativity, Kuntowijoyo's Historical Explanation theory is used with the History method through stages of heuristics, critics, interpretation and historiography. The results show that R. Ono Lesmana Kartadikoesoemah has used his talent, potential, quality and capacity in the process of creating his artworks.
