TARI PAKSITUWUNG KARYA GUBAHAN DALAM PENYAJIAN TARI

ABSTRAK
Tari Paksi Tuwung merupakan tarian putri berkarakter halus, karena memiliki nilai-nilai kodrat seorang wanita yang lemah lembut dan berbudi luhur, dapat ditarikan tunggal maupun kelompok. Hal tersebut menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi sehingga ditetapkan sebagai sumber garap dalam penyajian tari. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari garap gubahan tari ini adalah untuk mewujudkan suatu penyajian baru tanpa meng-hilangkan esensi sumbernya. Dengan demikian, maka metode penyajian yang digunakan adalah metode gubahan tari dengan melakukan pe-ngembangan motif gerak baik itu tenaga, ruang dan waktu disertai pengembangan pola lantai, arah gerak, arah hadap, dan unsur penunjang lainnya. Adapun hasil yang dicapai adalah suatu gaya penyajian baru tanpa menghilangkan identitas sumbernya.

ABSTRACT
Paksi Tuwung Dance Works Of Gubahan In Dance Presentation, June 2018. Paksi Tuwung dance is a female dance with fine character, because it has the natural values of a woman who is gentle and virtuous, can be danced singly or in groups. This is the main attraction for so that it is determined as a source of work on the presentation of dance. Therefore, the purpose of working on this dance composition is to realize a new presentation without losing the essence of the source. Thus, the presentation method used is a dance composition method by developing motive motives in terms of energy, space and time accompanied by the development of floor patterns, direction of motion, direction of facing, and other supporting elements. The result achieved is a new presentation style without losing the identity of the source.
