PENYAJIAN TARI BADAYA

ABSTRAK
Tari Badaya merupakan salah satu genre tari Wayang yang berkarakter putri ladak, pada umumnya dikelompokkan menjadi dua status yaitu jabatan dan pertokohan. Salah satu repertoarnya adalah tari Badaya, termasuk nama jabatan yang bertugas untuk menghibur para raja dalam cerita pewayangan. Materi tarian ini dipilih karena memiliki keunikan dan nilai estetik tersendiri sehingga memiliki daya tarik sebagai sajian pertunjukan. Dengan demikian, penulis mendapatkan peluang krea-tivitas untuk menggarap kembali penyajian tari Badaya melalui olahan gerak yang bervariasi dan garap pola ruang yang inovatif. Untuk mewujudkan peluang tersebut, maka landasan teori yang dipakai adalah teori gegubahan. Sejalan dengan teori tersebut, maka metode garap yang digunakan adalah gubahan tari dengan langkah-langkah implementasi melalui; eksplorasi, evaluasi dan komposisi. Proses garap penyajian ini bertujuan menghasilkan suatu bentuk dan gaya penyajian tari Badaya yang berbeda tanpa menghilangkan esensi dan identitas sumbernya.

ABSTRACT
Presentation Of Badaya Dance, June 2021. Badaya dance is one of the Wayang dance genres with the character of ladak's putri, generally grouped into two statuses, namely position and character. One of his repertoires is the Badaya dance, including the name of the title assigned to entertain the kings in wayang stories. This dance material was chosen because it has its own uniqueness and aesthetic value so that it has appeal as a performance presentation. Thus, the authors get creative opportunities to rework the presentation of the Badaya dance through varied motion processing and work on innovative spatial patterns. To realize this opportunity, the theoretical basis used is the theory of gegubahan. In line with this theory, the working method used is gubahan tari with implementation steps through; exploration, evaluation and composition. The process of working on this presentation aims to produce a different form and style of presentation of the Badaya dance without losing the essence and identity of the source.
