TARI KATUMBIRI KARYA IRAWATI DURBAN ARDJO DI SANGGAR PUSBITARI, KOTA BANDUNG

ABSTRAK
Tari Katumbiri merupakan tari Kreasi Baru yang diciptakan oleh Irawati Durban Ardjo, di Sanggar Pusbitari, Kota Bandung. Tari Katumbiri telah melewati berbagai tahapan kreativitas, sehingga tercipta karya tari yang estetis, kebaruan dari segi koreografi dan karawitan tarinya. Berbagai keunikan yang dipresentasikan Tari Katumbiri menarik untuk diteliti, sehingga memunculkan rumusan masalah dalam penelitian; Bagaimana kreativitas Irawati Durban Ardjo dalam Tari Katumbiri? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi pustaka, wawancara, dan observasi. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan pendekatan 4P yaitu; Pribadi, Proses, Pendorong, dan Produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa Irawati sebagai pribadi kreatif beserta pendorong dan proses yang dilaluinya diwujudkan dalam sebuah karya tari yaitu Tari Katumbiri sebagai produk kreatif.

ABSTRACT. Katumbiri Dance Creation ByIrawati Durban Ardjo In Sanggar Pusbitari, Bandung City, December 2019. Katumbiri dance is a new creation dance created by Irawati Durban Ardjo, at Sanggar Pusbitasari, Bandung. Katumbiri dance has passed through various stages of creativity, so as to create aesthetic dance work, novelty in terms of dance choreography and music (karawitan). The uniqueness presented within Katumbiri dance is interesting to study, so that it brings to the problem of the research formulated in a question; How is the creativity of Irawati Durban Ardjo in Katumbiri dance? This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, interviews, and observations. This research also uses a 4P approach namely Pribadi (Personal), Proses (Process), Pendorong (Support), and Produk (Product). The result of this study indicates that Irawati as a creative person and her support and the process through is embodied in a dance work that is Katumbiri Dance as a creative product.
