EKSISTENSI KAIN TENUN DI ERA MODERN

The development of woven fabrics for the past few years has been very rapid, judging from the competitions and also fashion shows that carry the theme of traditional fabrics, woven fabrics are the most displayed. This makes us aware that Indonesian woven fabrics have been attached to traditional fabrics that have been around for a long time but still exist today. In the period 2018 until now, woven fabrics are very shining, seen only by modern children but can trigger them to be interested and interested in wearing woven fabrics, this is one of the right steps to maintain the existence of woven fabrics in this era modern. the focus and concentration of the design is directed at qualitative methods with data collection through observation with a cultural approach method. Its function is to try to dispel the paradigm around children today about ancient woven fabrics and try to restore the existence of woven fabrics in this modern era, so that we can all hope that the popularity of woven fabrics is growing today in society.

Perkembangan kain tenun selama beberapa tahun ini sungguh pesat, dilihat dari banyaknya perlombaan dan juga fashion show yang mengusung tema tentang kain tradisional, maka kain tenun pun paling banyak di tampilkan. Hal ini membuat kita sadar bahwa kain tenun indonesia sudah sngat melekat dengan kain tradisional yang sudah sangat tua namun tetap eksis hingga saat ini. Pada kurun waktu 2018 hingga saat inilah kain tenun sangat bersinar, tak hanya dilihat oleh anak zaman modern saja melainkan dapat memicu mereka untuk tertarik dan penasan untuk mngenakan kain tenun, ini adalah salah satu langkah yang tepat untuk mempertahankan ke eksis-an kain tenun di zaman modern ini. fokus dan konsentrasi perancangan diarahkan pada metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data dengan cara observasi dengan metode pendekatan budaya. Fungsinya ialah mencoba menghilangkan paradigma disekitar anak zaman sekarang tentang kain tenun yang kuno dan mencoba mengembalikan kembali eksistensi kain tenun di era modern ini, dengan demikian kita semua dapat berharap agar kembalinya popularitas kain tenun semakin berkembang saat ini di masyarakat.
