STRUKTUR MODAL PIERRE BOURDIEU PADA PELAKU KREATIF GRAFIS FASHION BANDUNG

Modal biasanya dipahami dalam term ekonomi, padahal menurut teori Modal Pierre Bourdieu terdapat 4 jenis modal yaitu modal sosial, modal ekonomi, modal budaya dan modal simbolik. Hubungan kepemilikan modal antar pelaku kreatif maupun relasinya dengan pelaku yang lain menentukan posisi pelaku kreatif di arena tertentu dan menjelaskan hubungan kekuasaan pelaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal ditentukan oleh 6 arena yaitu arena industri fashion, arena fashion show, arena pameran/ instalasi, arena pertunjukan, arena perlombaan desain dan arena komunitas. Struktur modal menjadi pembentuk diferensiasi dan arena menjadi tempat atau lokasi terjadinya praktik diferensiasi grafis fashion.
