MODEL PASAR TRADISIONAL URBAN

This article discusses an alternative marketplace that is distinct and unique. Most markets facilitate the transaction of primary or secondary needs without heeding either the local cultural potential or educational values for its surrounding society. Thus, buyers and sellers complete the transaction without acquiring either additional values or experiences. This condition occurs in traditional markets at large, modern markets, and even online marketplaces. Qualitative approach and critical analysis applied in processing the data resulted in a market model. The Grimpon market is a design that fuses traditional and urban markets by implementing the management approach of Planning, Organization, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC) and executed through some stages, such as making market organization concept, appointing market organizing committee, writing a proposal of market organization, publication and promotion, sponsor issues, displays, implementation, control, and evaluation of the market.

Tulisan ini membahas keberadaan pasar tempat jual beli alternatif yang memiliki keunikan dan berbeda. Mayoritas pasar merupakan tempat jual beli kebutuhan pokok maupun kebutuhan lainnya sehingga mengabaikan potensi kultural setempat maupun edukasi terhadap masyarakat, sehingga para pembeli maupun penjual bertransaksi tanpa mendapatkan nilai tambah maupun pengalaman yang lain setelah kegiatan itu usai. Kondisi yang seperti ini terjadi di pasar tradisional pada umumnya, pasar modern maupun pasar yang dilaksananakan secara online yang masih eksis hinggga kini. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan analisa kritis disertai dengan data acuan lapangan pasar yang sudah ada maka dapat diformulasikan sebuah tahapan sebagai model pasar. Adalah pasar Grimpon merupakan rancangan perwujudan menggabungkan antara pasar tradisi dan urban yang dirancang malalui pendekatan managemen Planing, Organisation, Actuating, dan Controling (POAC) dan kemudian dieksekusi melalui tahapan: Konsep Penyelenggaraan Pasar, Penetuan Tim Pelaksana Pasar, PenyusunanProposal penyelenggaraan pasar, Publikasi dan Promosi Pasar, Masalah Sponsor, Penataan/display Pasar, Acara Pelaksanaan, Pengendalian dan Evaluasi Pasar.
